A close relationship with the teachers

My Erasmus has also allowed me to approach the student-teacher relationship in a different way. Here the interactions are different from those I am used to in France.

I am in contact with some of my teachers via Whatsapp, either via group conversations with all the other students of the courses or via private conversations. The support for students is very thorough and if you have any questions, you can just send a message
It is a less formal way of sustaining a relationship and it is very pleasant.
In addition, at the end of each class, the teachers remind us that if we need to, we can schedule a meeting via Zoom or face to face so that they can answer our questions. It is also common for some teachers to offer extra classes to help students who are facing difficulties. The teachers are very attentive and also provide us with a lot of support via Moodle to help us work. The relationships are more based on a peer-to-peer system. And sometimes they even go beyond that. A few days ago, for example, I went out for a drink with one of my teachers and a few students. This allows us to see adults in a different way and more as allies who are there to help us.
