Before leaving

I am finishing preparing for my student mobility. After having made several

choices of destinations; it is to Lisbon that I’ll be flying.

However, the situation related to covid-19 is not helping and is slowing down the process. After waiting a long time for answers from my university, and from Universidad Catolica Portuguesa de Lisboa, and after calling them many times, I finally received confirmation a few days ago: my “DUETI” (International technological university diploma) will take place. The university will implement covid measures in order to be able to host foreign students.

Because of the current pandemic, I hesitated a lot about sticking to my choice or noyt, which was a risky bet, but I do not regret it.

The university is very organized and has set up a Whatsapp conversation for all the international students of the first semester as well as the person in charge of the international relations of the university. This is very useful to have information about the current situation in Portugal and to have quick answers to questions.
